Dr. Samantha Mansfield is a board certified pediatrician.  She attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with double minors in Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry.

Dr. Mansfield began her career with Westinghouse Electric Corporation working as a Nuclear Engineer contracted with the United States Navy.  She then worked for General Chemical Corporation in the position of Plant Manager.

During this time she continued to take courses in preparation for medical school.  Dr. Mansfield entered medical school in August 2003 at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia completing her medical degree in May 2009.  After completing her medical degree Dr. Mansfield and her family moved to Tucson Arizona to begin pediatric residency at the University of Arizona Health Science Center. She recently completed her residency in July 2012 and is excited to begin pediatric private practice.

Dr. Mansfield is the mother of two children, Morrigan and Joshua.  Parenthood has given her a parental perspective to go along with her medical knowledge.  In her free time, Dr. Mansfield is active in her children’s school activities and enjoys spending time with her family.  She is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team and enjoys collecting ‘Steelers’ memorabilia.
